Your inside beauty will determine other peoples interpretation of the outside. The only change is the perception of other people. Beauty is not factual in any way. It’s all interpretation.

I think all this is hypocritical, everybody want to be as pretty as possible… no one want to be ugly. And when people say ” real beauty comes from inside and not from outside”… that’s because they given up beeing pretty or they are jealous. I’m not saying the inside is not important… but the outside and the inside are similarly equally important ! The outside is YOU !
You can’t identify yourself when you see ugly people. Would women buy make up or dresses weared by ugly women ?
Our perception of beauty is not distorted. It’s fine tuned by hundreds of thousands of years of evolution. The more beautiful, the more healthy and wealthy in the culture of our foraging ancestors. It’s not distorted, it’s just most of us are ugly

Sure, images of models should not be “photoshop’d”, but ladies, if you have a problem with any naturally beautiful women being market’d on the cover of everything, well that is really just jealousy rather than moral objection.

what editing program do they use?
Beauty comes from the inside, and usually it shows on the outside
she looked better before all of that. i wish they would leave her as she was, and then just use her for the campaign. i just think that all that is sending the wrong message to people, especially teenagers.

wow holy crap this is amazing! she really is very pretty without the make up and with. But with the photo shop edit she looks fake and alien like.

I’m 16 years old, and I’m a girl. I used to always look at others and feel terrible about myself. I wore tons of make up and whatelse, but now I’ve build up my own confidence.
But looking at the 6-7th graders from my school, makes me sad – they think they have to grow up already. Every break they’ll go to the bathroom to do their make up or hair (boys as well as girls)
Wearing make up is fine, but when you have to take the ”beauty of the celebrities” to the extreme it gets very sad…
She has great eyes even without photoshop.

It would be so nice if photographers everywhere could spend more time shooting the perfect photo and less time editing a photo to perfection.
